What it actually smells like

Waha is the Khamrah DNA turned inside out. Bergamot, yuzu and juniper open it sparkling and uplifting, with ginger adding a little bite. The heart is genuinely unusual for this house — cucumber and a sea salt accord over sage and iris, cool and airy rather than sweet. Then the family resemblance returns underneath: tonka, vanilla and musk with Akigalawood and Ambrofix giving it weight. Fresh on top, recognisably Khamrah below.

Waha or Qahwa: which Khamrah is yours?

Both are flankers of the same Khamrah DNA, but they pull in opposite directions:

• Khamrah Waha (this one) — the fresh one. Yuzu, cucumber and sea salt over a light tonka-vanilla base. Built for Indian summers, office days and heat.
• Khamrah Qahwa — the rich one. If you came for the coffee-and-dates side of Khamrah, this is where it lives: cinnamon and cardamom over praline and candied fruit, into roasted coffee, vanilla and tonka. Made for evenings and cold weather.
