What it actually smells like

Qahwa is the coffee-forward flanker to Lattafa's original Khamrah — it trades some of the date-heavy sweetness for roasted coffee and warm spice. Cinnamon, cardamom and ginger open it like a spice market, praline and candied fruit fill the middle, and then the coffee arrives in the base with vanilla and tonka underneath. It smells like a cardamom coffee rather than a dessert, which is what makes it more wearable than most gourmands.

Longevity and projection

Longevity: Around 7–10 hours on most skin, with longer wear on clothing
Projection: Strong for the first few hours before settling into a warm skin scent

These figures are deliberately conservative. Performance depends on your skin type, how much you apply, the weather and what you spray it on — Indian heat shortens most fragrances, so treat this as a floor rather than a promise. A 5ml decant is the honest way to find out how it behaves on you.

Qahwa or Waha: which Khamrah is yours?

Both are flankers of the same Khamrah DNA, but they pull in opposite directions:

• Khamrah Qahwa (this one) — the rich one. Cinnamon and cardamom over praline and candied fruit, into roasted coffee, vanilla and tonka. This is where the coffee-and-dates side of Khamrah lives. Made for evenings and cold weather.
• Khamrah Waha — the fresh one. Yuzu, cucumber and sea salt over a light tonka-vanilla base. The better pick for Indian summers, office days and heat.

Qahwa is the coffee-forward version — it keeps the spice and praline but swaps some of the date sweetness for roasted coffee, which makes it drier and less sugary.

Qahwa for cold evenings, Waha for Indian summers and the office. They share a DNA but sit at opposite ends of it.

Is it good for Indian summers?
Not really. The coffee and vanilla get heavy in heat — Waha is the better warm-weather option.
