What it actually smells like

Lavender and mirabelle plum open it with a soft, fruity sweetness, and pink pepper keeps it from going syrupy. The heart is the interesting part — cacao and nutmeg give it a dry, dusty cocoa character rather than a chocolate-dessert one, with davana adding a boozy, jammy edge. Bourbon vanilla and amber close it out, with vetiver underneath keeping the whole thing grounded instead of sugary.

This is Asad Bourbon, the sweeter, warmer flanker. The original Lattafa Asad is a dark amber-spicy scent built on black pepper, tobacco and dry woods. Bourbon takes a different route — lavender and plum up top, a cacao-nutmeg heart, and a bourbon vanilla-amber base. Softer, sweeter and more gourmand than the original, same house signature in a warmer register. A 5ml of each is the cheapest way to decide which one is yours.
